Pierre Slamich is the vice-president of the collaborative, free and open food products database Open Food Facts. Since 2012, 5000 contributors have opened the data (ingredients, nutrition facts etc.) for close to 350 000 food and beauty products. The data is published under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) and has been reused in dozens of apps and services, and in public health studies
